I love to use music with a positive message in my work, so the lyrics displayed on Morph create an encouraging emphasis to raise awareness of accessibility in London. It's a brightly coloured, fun piece that focuses on large, swirling, hand-drawn text, to give a sense of freedom, and illustrations of real wheelchair users using the curves as their paths.

‘From 19 June to 20 August 2023, central London was transformed to host 56 6-foot tall sculptures of much-loved children’s TV character, Morph, hosted by Whizz Kidz, the UK’s leading charity for young wheelchair users. They were located alongside some of London’s most iconic landmarks, each sculpture was uniquely designed by well-known and emerging artists, which provided a fun family-friendly art trail for locals and visitors to follow.’

The Hound of Music, a hand painted design inspired by positive, happy song lyrics.

'Gromit Unleashed began as a public arts trail in Bristol, a collaboration between Wallace & Gromit’s Grand Appeal, the Bristol Children’s Hospital Charity, and Aardman Animations, to raise funds to support sick children and babies at the Hospital. We set out to capture the imagination of the public by adorning Bristol’s streets with 80 giant Gromit sculptures for 10 weeks, before taking the sculptures to auction.'

Curzon Cinema’s fundraising campaign ‘Art On The Tiles’.

To repair the damage to the roof of Clevedon’s stunning cinema, myself & other Aardman Animations artists transformed the original 1920’s tiles into works of art, to be auctioned off for charity.

Learning Time with Timmy, an Aardman Digital Production:

'A colourful Timmy themed children’s app with 3 exciting mini games. Users learn to identify and recognise new English words through popping balloons, sweeping away leaves, sand, snow and mud to reveal what lies beneath and putting toys in a box. Users are rewarded with stickers and funny clips of Timmy and his friends. As the user progresses the levels get more challenging, combining different lexical sets.'

The Hidden Museum, an Aardman Digital Production:

'A museum multitool app that makes family and group visits to Bristol museums more fun and playful. The app will promote group interaction directly with the museum, its displays and hidden treasures. The focus is on improving visitor experience in museums and galleries and many of these cite engagement with families as a key goal. New location aware digital technologies such as iBeacons can be used to explore, improve and promote more effective visitor engagement and to encourage higher levels of intergenerational or group activity and learning.'

Twit or Miss, an Aardman Digital Production:

'A disgusting new game featuring artwork based on Quentin Blake’s original illustrations that accompany the book, raising Dahl’s gruesome fiction to a digital platform. Players must aim for a high score by keeping the game going and preventing food from flying out of Mr Twit’s grisly meal and waking up Mrs Twit. The game involves an easy to learn and hard to master system of trick shots, multipliers and hidden secrets, keeping players coming back for more as they try to beat their top score!'

Globetrotter

'In 2015, Shaun the Sheep starred in Shaun in the City, two spectac-ewe-lar charity arts trails across Bristol and London, organised by Wallace & Gromit’s Children’s Foundation. 

120 giant Shaun the Sheep sculptures, by artists and household names from the worlds of film, art, animation and fashion, grazed green spaces and iconic locations in both cities during spring and summer.

On Thursday 8th October at The Mall Cribbs Causeway in Bristol, all 120 Shaun in the City sculptures went under the hammer in an auction hosted by acclaimed Sotheby’s auctioneer Tim Wonnacott, in a unique opportunity to take home a wonderful work of art and a piece of Bristol's and Britain's cultural history, raising a fantastic £1,087,900 for The Grand Appeal and Wallace & Gromit’s Children’s Charity to support sick children across the UK. All proceeds from our Bristol sculptures benefitted The Grand Appeal.'

DINO DONKEY DASH GAME, an Aardman Digital Production:

'An exciting collection of mini games based on the popular Gumball episode ‘The Quest’. After Tina the dinosaur steals a toy from the Gumball gang, the user has to help them get it back…whilst avoiding getting caught by the angry dinosaur! The game can be played in one player mode but was also designed with the added dimension of a two player mode so that friends can work their way through the mini games together.'

Sustainable Shaun, an Aardman Animations Production:

'A game in which players help Shaun the Sheep build his own sustainable settlement for the strays of the city. Players must keep the strays happy by meeting their needs in the five themes by: collecting recycled materials in a fun match-three game, building and upgrading one of ten sustainable creations in a crafting game, and by planning and managing their settlement in a city building game.'

The Gruffalo, an Aardman Digital Production:

'A website for Julia Donaldson’s much loved Gruffalo brand that was in keeping with the heritage of the books, with content to both engage children and inform parents. It's a fully responsive interactive site provides a rich environment through which fans can explore the world of the Gruffalo. For children we created the ‘deep dark wood’, using Axel Scheffler’s beautiful illustrations to create an interactive world of mini-games and hidden surprises.'

Pigby’s Fair, an Aardman Digital Production:

'A Unity developed 3D world-building game which allows children to join Pigby and his friends by getting creative and running their own stalls at the village fair. Players can run a variety of stalls selling items such as: ice-creams, sports kits, animal masks, fashion outfits and extreme sports equipment. They learn to save the fun way by setting savings targets and then depositing some of the money they earn with Pigby in his bank. If they are good savers and reach their targets they are able to unlock new stalls and play the fair’s mini games. The game  is available to download on iOS and Android.'

Championsheeps, an Aardman Digital Production:

'A collection of games that see Shaun and friends left alone on the farmyard for the day, where they entertain themselves by holding an Olympic style competition to see who will be crowned the Championsheep of the farm. Each game represents a different sporting or outdoor activity, but with a surreal, Shaun the Sheep twist, from bowling hedgehogs, high dives into muddy puddles and outrunning aliens! The games were created to inspire a little bit of friendly competition hooking into CBBC’s game API to unlock achievements, special modes and compete against friends on the highscore board.'

'A 24 level platform adventure game set in three rich, natural wilderness environments. Players must control the intrepid explorer Steve Backshall, walking, jumping, swinging and climbing across the multi-screen levels to discover, track and record the many amazing and deadly animals found within.'

Animate It website, an Aardman Digital Production:

'The Animate It website provides tools, resources and inspiration to encourage children to have a go at stop-frame animation at home. It includes animation how-to videos, downloads to help bring their animations to life, blogs and handy tips straight from Aardman’s professional animators, to get children animating in no time at all.'

The Tate Movie Project, an Aardman Digital Production:

'A community website featuring a virtual film studio with characters representing each part of the movie production. The virtual studio was the online gateway to the real film production studio, with the film’s producers continuously requesting specific content from the children via the active online community and through updates to the site’s animated characters. Using the creative tools on the site the children were able to create scripts, sounds, artwork and short animated clips, all of which could be submitted as ideas for the final film. The thriving community around the site were able to connect with buddies, comment on other people’s work and discuss the film in the website forum. The site has won numerous awards including the ‘Interactive’ BAFTA, the ‘Best Website’ at the ‘British Interactive Media Awards’ and ‘Best Digital Innovation’ at the ‘Royal Television Society Awards'

Cupcakes of Doom, an Aardman Digital Production:

'The game sees Mordecai and Rigby riding on the shoulders of their friend Skips to catch up with the evil Klorgbane to retrieve the ‘Milk or Redemption’, the only antidote to the poisoned ‘Cupcakes of Doom’ which have corrupted all of the usually docile Guardians of Eternal Youth.'

'Aardman Digital have now developed 5 games for CBeebies’ Something Special brand. All the games are produced at the highest level of accessibility to be played by children across the spectrum of multiple and profound disabilities. The games are all designed so that carers can easily configure the settings of the game to suit the unique accessibility needs of their children, enabling those with even the most extreme disabilities to engage with Mr Tumble and the Something Special brand across a broad spectrum of platforms and devices.'

Deadly Dash series of games, an Aardman Digital Production:

'Aardman Digital developed a fast paced and highly addictive platform challenge which sees presenter Steve Backshall chased by animals including a swarms of bees and a rampaging hippo.  Extensive user testing with young people allowed us to fine tune the levels and the addition of bonus points for photographing the wildlife along the way added to the gameplay.'
